More Features, More Efficient, More Positive UX
February release of TimeTec TA offers you extra features as well as changes that increase the positive user experience of this system.
  New Sub-Module in Notification – System Update
User data such as fingerprint templates occupies a large amount of data, which means more time needed to download the data into TimeTec TA. To reduce the waiting time of the administrators, we have developed a new feature under Notification module, which we called System Update, where the administrator will be notified once the download activity is completed.

To turn on the System Update Notification, you can go to Notification > Settings > Turn on System Update.

Once this is done, a notification will be sent out to the administrator(s) after he/she clicks on the Sync button in Device> FingerTec Terminal > Download/Delete user.
The notification will be sent out once the synchronization is completed on the selected terminals.
  Notification – User Name Displayed in the Notification Module are Linked with User Profiles.
Another enhancement in the Notification module is that you can click to display the user profile that is shown in the Notification. You will be able to view the basic profile of a user such as their name, phone number, e-mail address, department, etc, without having to go back to the user module.
  The All-New Setup Wizard
The Setup Wizard (Support > Wizard > Setup Wizard) has been reorganized with a new interface to make it easy for administrator to configure TimeTec TA for the first time without any hassle.
  System Settings – Added “URL to Go After Logout”
TimeTec TA has a feature where administrators are able to set the next webpage to be displayed once the user logs out from TimeTec TA. You can choose to display your company’s website or the website of your preference once a user logs out from his/her TimeTec TA account.
  Other Updates
1. Machine translation by Google Translate API for French, Italian, Russian and Persian languages
Previously, professional translators carried out all the translations in TimeTec TA. With the new release of TimeTec TA, we have integrated Google Translate’s API with TimeTec TA, for more language translations and to achieve better translations with participations of our customers to suit their language preferences.
2. Manage User – Enables Mobile Login and Check-In by default when adding a new user
Smartphone is a common gadget for of today’s lifestyle. Most of TimeTec TA users are using TimeTec Mobile application to perform their clocking activities. In this release of TimeTec TA, we have configured that by default, all the newly added users will be given the privilege to login through TimeTec Mobile application to view their attendance and perform mobile-clocking.
